Northwest Protective Services Company History
In 1940 former Washington state legislator and Chief U.S. Marshal, Anthony E. Mandery founded NW Protective with his wife. Mandery's experience and reputation attracted Webster Brinkley and American Can as the company's first clients.
A few years later, World War II turned Seattle into a major West Coast port and NW Protective provided most of the security for the Seattle waterfront. When peace arrived - and an economic boom with it - NW Protective expanded to serve hospitals, high-rises, and industrial sites. Mr. Mandery's constant pursuit of a higher industry standard underlined the company's continual expansion. Together with offices in Tacoma, Spokane, Yakima, and Portland, our company employs approximately 600 professionally trained security officers.
Our founders' original vision still anchors NW Protective corporate philosophy today. As the largest locally owned security service provider in the Pacific Northwest, the family tradition has kept the company in touch with its local customers needs while keeping an open door to growth.

We have committed ourselves to responsible eco-practices.
